About the role Seeking a proactive, results-oriented, experienced Senior Tax Accountant looking to work with a dynamic team. Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, you will manage the tax compliance and reporting for key group entities with an additional focus on tax governance.The responsibilitiesReporting into the Group Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to); Manage income tax compliance process for various entities, ensuring timely compliance and accurate reporting. Calculate income tax provisions, including tax-effect accounting and deferred tax reporting. Provide income tax advice on commercial transactions, acquisitions, divestments, projects, and corporate restructuring. Documentation, maintenance and testing of internal processes and procedures supporting the Group’s Tax Risk Management Framework Continuous development and review of income tax risk management strategies Assist with tax governance reporting to stakeholders Build strong cross-department relationships with key stakeholders. Working with internal stakeholders to identify and implement operational improvements, including tech integration opportunities. Monitor tax law changes, prepare impact analysis and provide business advice. The successful applicant will haveIdeally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional with a big 4/Mid tier background and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3-5 years exposure to a similar position within a relevant, project-based industry is desirable.
