About the role:
The firm has seen significant growth in the past year and to support this growth trajectory, they require a Compliance officer to join the team. This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking a role that offers personal growth, autonomy within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities include:
  • Managing and conducting compliance audits, reviews and reporting.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders both verbally and in written form and developing positive and collaborative working relationships.
  • Using problem solving skills to come up with resolutions for different circumstances. Determining the root cause of the resolution and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely record keeping.
  • Actively assisting management to ensure efficient work practices are maintained. Become proficient in our legal software system (Practice Evolve) to input and extract relevant data and reports as required.
  • Provide compliance input to strategic projects
About you:
Some of the skills and experience you may have acquired that will help you succeed in this role are:
  • 2 -3 years Compliance or Risk Management experience.
  • Relevant qualifications in Business/Finance/Commerce or equivalent.
  • Highly organised and able to maintain high quality work with a strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive and solution focused individual with a resolution mindset approach.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task with accuracy during busy times.
  • Highly motivated and effective communication skills both written and verbal
