Reporting directly to the CFO with close ties to the SLT and Board, your role will be a broad and dynamic one requiring you to partner closely with key stakeholders across the business to provide timely and accurate financial insights to support commercial decision-making.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Further build out the BI tools of the group (primary focus on operational data analytics) to enhance the planning and analytical capability of the group
- Coordinating with IT providers and external stakeholders to complete and roll out BI tools, and the ongoing continuous improvement of operational data compilation
- Developing and leading the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Providing monthly financial analysis and commentary, and sales/margin reporting and analysis
- Providing financial modelling support to assist with strategic decision making
- Evolving existing reporting frameworks and dashboards - both operational and financial performance
- Identifying areas for process improvement and executing accordingly
CA/CPA qualified, ideally you will have commenced your career within a Big 4 or mid-tier firm and will have further experience within a complex commercial environment. You will be a genuine business partner who is able to build strong relationships and exert influence across the group. You will be commercial and strategic and will know what it takes to establish a 'best in class' FP&A function.
