They are in the position to bring on board an experienced Product Technologist to join their team.
About the Role
As a Product Technologist you will play a pivotal role in the creation, development, and optimisation of food manufacturing processes. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of product quality, production efficiency, and overall operational excellence. All while collaborating across all business functions to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction of existing products.
The role will work cross functionally with individuals both externally and internally, from product development, quality, engineering, packaging, marketing, and manufacturing, team to successfully execute NPD and R&D projects in line with the company’s innovation plans.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in food product development or food science related areas.
- Tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Knowledge of food laws and regulations, including nutritional facts development, ingredient declarations and development of formulas.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, food handling and packaging concepts.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Effective communication across the wider business.
