As each day progresses, more is becoming known about the prevalence of Coronavirus across the globe and locally here in Australia. Whilst a great deal of uncertainty still surrounds COVID-19 and its impacts to health and safety, as well as the global economic implications, what is certain is that we need to ensure we are taking care of our people, our candidates, clients, friends, family and those on the front line.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve had customers ask about the initiatives Sharp & Carter is employing to safeguard our people and continue to deliver premium levels of service and business continuity. So, we thought we’d share these initiatives with you:
What actions are Sharp & Carter taking to care for our employees, clients and candidates?
As we are in the business of connecting people with people, our Leadership Group are continually monitoring the information provided and recommended via the Australian Government Department of Health and our ongoing actions will be based on this most up to date and information.
So far, we have implemented the following as part of our Response Policy:
Ensuring adequate infection control practices among the workplace – employee education, flexible working arrangements and sanitation practices to limit infection transmission.
Implementing business contingency plan to ensure ongoing service are provided to clients and candidates. Move candidate and client meetings to “FaceTime” meetings, phone calls or “WhatsApp” and “Zoom” to replace face to face meetings.
Placing all Sharp & Carter hosted Events on hold.
As the situation evolves, we will adjust our recommended plans accordingly to continue to protect our employees, clients and candidates and ensure continuity of our service offering.
Despite these times, Sharp & Carter will continue to place the care and safety of our employees, clients and candidates at the forefront. We are confident that our operations will not be disrupted nor will the high quality of service we provide in the past be hampered. We are very well equipped to replace face to face interviews and meetings with technological methods to interview and screen candidates or obtain briefings from clients accordingly.
