Pat began his recruitment career in 2007 after an opportunity to help with the database at Ambit Recruitment, a business that was later acquired by Peoplebank. Coming from a performing arts background rather than a technical one, he discovered a passion for recruitment and relationship building, spending almost 14 years with Peoplebank before continuing his career with M&T Resources and Davidson and ultimately joining Sharp & Carter.
Over the course of his career, Pat has partnered with large enterprise organisations across Banking & Finance, Telecommunications and IT Services, specialising in the recruitment of contract technology professionals. His experience spans a broad range of disciplines including Technical Support, Software Development, Digital/AI, Data Analytics, Architecture, Project Services, Business Analysis, Change Management, Risk & Compliance and Technology Leadership.
Pat's approach is built on authenticity, trust and long-term relationships. He believes successful recruitment is about understanding people as much as it is understanding technical capability and takes pride in becoming a trusted advisor to clients, contractors and candidates alike.
Outside of work, Pat is a proud father of three, who enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for music, theatre and film. He is a strong advocate for raising the standard of the recruitment industry and believes that, when delivered with integrity, respect and genuine care, recruitment has the power to create life-changing opportunities for both individuals and organisations.
