Our client is looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant or Assistant accountant with 2 years+ experience to join their team on a 10 month fixed contract. The role and the business are ideal for someone who is hard-working, has a positive attitude and is a quick learner.
The Role
Reporting into Senior Financial Accountant, this is a broad role which includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Bank reconciliation
- Raising customer invoices
- Debtor management
- Running monthly debtors meeting with key stakeholders
- Processing direct debit and direct credit payments
- BAS preparation
- Month end journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
The Successful Candidate
- Experience with Pronto and AP21 beneficial
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A high level of attention to detail
- The ability to multi task, organize and prioritize
- Proficient experience using MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, etc)
- Works well in a team
- Being able to work autonomously & able to meet deadlines
