Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day property accounting for assigned retail assets, including financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of variance analysis for management reports.
- Support the annual outgoings estimate and adjustment process, liaising with tenants as required.
- Assist with audits (statutory, outgoings, and trust) and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant legislation.
- Coordinate financial aspects of property capital transactions, including due diligence support and post-settlement processes.
- Provide guidance and training to the property management team on finance-related matters.
- Identify process improvements and assist in streamlining month-end reporting and other financial processes.
- CA/CPA qualified or near-qualified with experience in property accounting.
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- High system proficiency and ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Positive, proactive, and inquisitive approach with a keen interest in property finance.
