Based in Brooklyn, our client is a prominent ASX-listed retailer known for its strong brand presence. They are currently looking for an Accountant to join their business on an a permanent basis.
The Role | Reporting to the Group Finance Manager
Duties will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders;
- Preparation of relevant journals, prepayments and accruals;
- Completion of monthly general ledger reconciliations;
- Completion of month-end and year-end accounts;
- Ensure accurate allocation of costs;
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date general ledger; and
- Ad hoc tasks and process improvements as required.
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified with an accounting or business background. You will have minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and have completed or are currently studying your CA/CPA. You will have exceptional communication skills, a strong eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Local experience is essential
- Experience having worked in businesses from $80m - $150m TO preferred
- Experience liaising with stakeholders from FMCG/Manufacturing/Construction or Retail Industries preferred
- Prior experience managing 10+ subsidiaries essential
- On-site parking provided
- 2 days WFH
- $90K - $100K + Super
- Report into ASX listed head office
- Option to work a 9 day fortnight to receive a day in lieu
