About the role 
We are seeking an experienced Accountant / Finance All Rounder to support the finance function of an established business based in South Sydney.

This opportunity is ideal for someone looking for a broad, transactional role where they can take ownership of core finance processes while also contributing to the wider business support team. You will work in a small, collaborative environment and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.

This role would suit a candidate who enjoys variety, is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely work.
 

The Responsibilities

• Accounts payable and receivable processing
• Cash management and bank reconciliations
• Payroll processing and administration
• Month end reporting and reconciliations
• Budget tracking and expense management
• Assisting with compliance, tax, and audit requirements
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• Providing general office and administrative support as required

About you

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in a hands on, end to end accounting or finance role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working autonomously in a small office setting
• Clear communication skills and a practical approach

Skills & Experience 

• Experience using accounting and financial management systems
• Strong Excel skills and confidence handling financial data
• Prior experience in a small to mid sized business environment is advantageous
