About the role
My client is seeking a confident and capable Accounts Administrator & Office Manager, who brings a diverse skill set and a positive attitude to learning and growth. This is a varied role which would allow the successful candidate to be exposed to a range of business facets, including finance operations, human resource administration and office management. This permanent role is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking office all rounder to join the close-knit team as soon as possible!

Position Description  
Playing a pivotal role in an all round position, as you report into the Group Accountant, your daily tasks will include:
  • Ongoing and varied support for a wide range of business areas
  • Developing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Processing invoices 
  • Preparing and processing payments 
  • Fortnightly payroll for 50+ employees
  • Reconciliations 
  • Answering incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Updating and maintaining internal databases
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Other ad-hoc duties required by management 

Ideal Candidate
This role will suit an experienced professional with a combination of experience in both administration and accounts. Additionally you will have the following:
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment 
  • Excellent telephone manner, communication skills and customer service
  • Effective time management & organisational skills
  • Ability to work confidently work autonomously, as well as in a close-knit team environment 
  • Strong attention to detail and administration skills
  • Ability to innovate, engage team members and collaborate as part of the team
  • Self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills
