An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Accounts & Admin Officer to join the team on a long term permanent basis.
Position Description
Working within a collaborative team to assist across accounts and administration, you will be responsible for:
- Daily processing of invoices
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Ownership of corporate credit card claims
- Process employee expense claims
- Complete relevant reporting duties
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure efficient AP/AR functioning
- Assist with processing orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate records
- Liaise with customers regarding orders, inquiries, and any issues related to sales or rentals
- Perform general administrative tasks & ad hoc duties to support smooth operations
- Troubleshoot issues to assist internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure all relevant documents are processed according to company policies and assist with regular reporting and audits
Ideal Candidate
his role will suit an experienced professional with a combination of experience in both accounts and administration. Additionally you will have the following:
- Experience working in a fast paced / varied environment
- Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem solving and in exercising judgement
- Prior experience in the transport and/or manufacturing industry is highly advantageous
