Working as part of a close-knit finance function, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business, supporting stakeholders across multiple locations and contributing to the smooth running of transactional finance activities.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will suit someone who enjoys a broad finance position with exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations. You will work closely with operational stakeholders while supporting the wider finance team across a range of accounting and administrative responsibilities.
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who is proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing their workload independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- End-to-end accounts payable processing
- Accounts receivable support and debtor management
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting requirements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data integrity
- Supporting internal stakeholders with finance-related queries
- Assisting with process improvements and ad hoc finance projects
- General support across the broader finance function
- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer or similar finance position
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capability
- Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Permanent full-time opportunity,
