About the company

They are currently seeking a determined Accounts Officer to join their finance team and hit the ground running in an exciting opportunity. This role will suit someone who likes to keep busy and is wanting to take the next step in their career.
Duties
Your daily tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Handling queries from both internal and external stakeholders
- Processing credit applications
- Setting up new vendors and customers
- Completing weekly and ad hoc payment runs
- Processing supplier invoices daily
- Bank and statement reconciliations
- Receipting payments
- Assisting with following up overdue / outstanding accounts
- Ad hoc tasks to assist the finance team where required
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will also have the following attributes:
- Previous experience within Accounts Payable & Receivables
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
