Our client is looking for an Accounts Officer (mixture of AP/AR) who has accounting knowledge. This role would be best suited to someone who is hard-working, has good attention to detail, is reliable and has excellent communication skills. You will be assisting the accounting team on a daily basis. The company is looking for someone who is ideally available to start on short notice/immediate.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Processing invoices - ensuring invoices are coded and approved
- Processing remittances
- Issuing invoices
- Credit card and statement reconciliations
- Allocations, reconciliations, banking
- Other accounting and reporting tasks
- Be enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Be able to work well within a team
