Position Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
- Process invoices on a daily basis
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Reconciliations
- Prepare weekly reports
- Analyse variances between weekly forecast and results
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Handle queries with both internal and external stakeholders
- Update rate cards to reflect current rates
- Support relevant end of month activities
- Ad hoc tasks to assist the broader finance team as required
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Officer role, along with the following attributes:
- Strong problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to multi task with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to hit the ground running with a positive attitude
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to confidently work autonomously as well as collaboratively to add value in a team environment
- Prior experience in the supply chain / manufacturing industry is highly advantageous
