About the role
Our client, a reputable global business, is seeking an experienced accounts payable professional or accounts officer to join their team immediately, or on short notice. The successful candidate must be available to start on short notice (a maximum of 2-weeks notice). Working with this supportive and friendly team-oriented environment, the role will suit an accounting professional who has accounts payable experience and is looking to work for a large company. 

The Responsibilities: 
Reporting directly into the Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager, your daily duties will include but not be limited to:  

• Data entry of high-volume invoices
• Matching, batching and coding of invoices
• Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and responding to supplier enquires. 
• Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills.
• Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations.
• Coordinate the accounts payable system, including vendor details, record of payments and filing systems
• Other ad hoc tasks as required

• Previous experience within an accounts payable / accounts officer role
• Strong attention to detail.
