The Organisation
Our client is a well-established national business with over 30 years expertise in their field throughout Australia. Based in Melbourne's Western suburb of Altona North, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to take ownership of the function in an end to end role, for a minimum 12 month fixed term contract. 

Position Description 
With a view of being the key contact for the Accounts Payable function, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Processing invoices
- Complete weekly payment runs
- Statement reconciliations
- Handle supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
- Set up new vendors and suppliers
- Supporting the wider finance team with adhoc duties
- Reception duties

Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have:
- A passion for Accounts Payable with 3+ years experience in a similar role 
- High level time management skills and an ability to multi task 
- Ability to engage with broader finance team members and collaborate as part of the team
- Keen eye for detail
- Vibrant personality with a positive 'can do' attitude
