The Role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate and timely transactional support across the organisation. Working as part of a collaborative shared services function, the Accounts Payable Officer will manage end‑to‑end payables processing while providing high‑quality support to internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • End‑to‑end processing of accounts payable, including invoice validation, data entry and payment runs
  • Vendor maintenance, reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies or outstanding balances
  • Management of creditor journals, GST treatment and compliance with internal policies
  • Liaising with stakeholders to resolve invoice, purchase order and payment queries
  • Supporting continuous improvement across accounts payable processes

About You

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable or similar transactional finance role
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines in a high‑volume environment
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, customer‑focused approach
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and within a team
  • Experience using finance systems as well as intermediate Excel skills
