The Client 

Our client is global, successful and very well know in the retail industry. Currently they seek a capable and vibrant Accounts Payable Officer to join their team in a permanent full time position. This role is perfect for a detail-focused individual who enjoys contributing positively to a business. The ideal candidate will be keen to work in an autonomous and driven environment and will be capable of handling multiple tasks effectively.


Responsibilities

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Matching of invoices to purchase orders and other relevant supporting documentation
  • Processing of invoices
  • Data entry and system management
  • Assist with payment runs
  • Staff expense reimbursements
  • Pro-actively manage the AP email inbox
  • Management of relationships with internal and external stakeholders and handling queries
  • Ad hoc tasks as required


Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, along with the following attributes:
  • Ability to work proficiently in an autonomous role
  • Positive and vibrant personality
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • experience using Excel
