They are presently seeking an ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on a 12-month contract. The business are poised for further growth, and an exciting opportunity presents for a driven candidate to join their close knit team and hit the ground running. This is a great role for a motivated individual to join a leading business who are based in Melbourne CBD.
Position Description:
Directly reporting to the Head of Accounting, your daily tasks will include, but not limited to;
- High volume processing of invoices
- Ensuring timely payment of supplier invoices through the weekly payment run
- Set up new vendors and suppliers
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Foreign payments
- Management of relationships with suppliers and handling queries
- Various reporting duties
- Assist the wider finance team with various duties where required
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will have similar proven experience in an Accounts Payable Officer role and have the following:
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Good people and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to hit the ground running
