About the role 
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a temporary part-time basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous accounts payable experience who demonstrates strong accuracy, organisational skills, and attention to detail.

The role offers a great opportunity to further develop your accounts payable knowledge while gaining valuable experience within a supportive and collaborative team environment. 

This position is part-time hours across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, making it well suited to candidates seeking flexibility and work-life balance. Immediate availability or short notice availability will be highly advantageous.

  
Key responsibilities
  • Process invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process regular payment runs.
  • Set up and maintain new supplier accounts in the system.
  • Respond to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the team with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks.

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
