An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Accounts Payable professional to join their team based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs on a full-time permanent basis.
Position Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a close knit AP team, you will be responsible for:
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, resolving any discrepancies
- Support payment runs including EFT, BPAY and foreign currency payments
- Reconciliations
- Setting up new suppliers and vendor maintenance
- Handling accounts payable queries in a timely and professional manner
- Developing relationships with suppliers & relevant stakeholders to assist with queries efficiently and effectively
- Collaboratively participate in strategic planning and continued process improvement
- Ad hoc duties to assist the broader finance team
Ideal Candidate
To be considered successful in the role, you will possess the following attributes:
- Prior experience within a similar end to end Accounts Payable role
- Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to confidently work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work proficiently in a high volume environment
- Self-motivated, positive and supportive team member
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
