The Organisation
Our client is a market leader in their field, with over 40 years experience nationally, and are presently seeking an ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team. The business are poised for further growth, and an exciting opportunity presents for a driven candidate to join their close knit team and hit the ground running. This is a great role for a motivated individual to permanently join a leading business who are based in Epping.
Position Description
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your daily tasks will include:
- High volume processing of invoices daily
- Ensuring timely payment of supplier invoices through the weekly payment run
- Set up new vendors and suppliers
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Expense reimbursements
- Management of relationships with suppliers and handling queries
- Various reporting duties
- Assist the wider finance team with various duties where required
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, along with the following attributes:
- Outstanding communication skills
- A reliable, friendly, can-do attitude
- Ability to multi-task and confidently work autonomously
- Exceptional organisation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Experience using large ERP systems desirable
