Position Description
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team on a long term basis. Reporting to the Business Manager, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Managing the national debtors ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Daily allocating and receipting of payments
- Review and set up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit checks
- Follow up overdue / outstanding payments - via phone and email
- Develop relationships and handle queries with both internal and external customers
- Relevant reporting duties
- Ad hoc tasks as required to assist the close knit finance team
Candidate Profile
Our client is ideally looking for someone with proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role, with a keen desire to join an innovative and growing business. You will be an energetic & passionate worker who has the ability to confidently work autonomously and take ownership of the AR function, whilst possess strong negotiation skills and have a strong attention to detail. Additionally, you will have impeccable verbal and written communication, with an excellent ability to multi-task, whilst possessing strong problem solving skills. You will have strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude!
