Organisational Profile
Our client is renowned for being a market leader in their respective industry, with a successful global presence as a multi-million dollar organisation. With a strong commitment to developing a positive culture within the business, our client is currently seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to immediately join their collaborative finance team. Due to business growth and company acquisitions, this is a newly created role and a great opportunity for an experienced individual to start their next challenge as soon as possible, working close to home in Thomastown.
Position Description
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing a debtors ledger of national accounts
- Allocation and receipting of payments
- Follow up on outstanding debt
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing invoices and refunds
- Review and set up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit checks
- Handle queries with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ad hoc tasks to assist the broader finance team as required
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit role, complemented by the ability to confidently multitask and manage competing priorities with strong organisational and time‑management skills. You will be a clear and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a personable approach that enables you to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. A positive attitude and genuine desire to learn whilst growing & consolidating your career will be essential for success in this role. Prior experience working with NetSuite, Oracle, or a similar large ERP system will be highly regarded.
