The business have a long standing and respected name in the industry, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team, located on the outskirts of Melbourne's CBD.

Position Description
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team. Reporting to the Credit Manager and working within a small team, you will be responsible for:
  • Allocation and receipting of payments 
  • Daily reconciliation of the accounts 
  • Daily banking 
  • Follow up on outstanding debt 
  • Collections of outstanding payments 
  • Review and set up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit checks
  • Handle queries with internal and external stakeholders
  • General administration duties 
  • Ad hoc duties to assist the broader team

Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable position, along with the following skills and attributes:
  • First class communication and presentation attributes.
  • A passionate and positive 'can do' attitude.
  • High level interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail, initiative and strong negotiation skills.
  • Effective time management & organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience using SAP or a similar large ERP system is highly advantageous.
