About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an Accounts Receivable & Payable Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Western Sydney. This position is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis and plays an important part in keeping the Accounts Receivable function running smoothly and supporting the broader finance team.

Working within a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of your own ledger, managing collections, allocations, and customer relationships while contributing to ongoing process improvements during a period of transformation.

Key Responsibilities Include 
  • End-to-end management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and supplier payments.
  • Managing both customer and supplier ledgers, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
  • Monitoring outstanding receivables and payables, following up on overdue payments, and maintaining agreed collection and payment terms.
  • Processing supplier invoices, performing three-way matching, and ensuring timely and accurate payment runs.
  • Performing bank reconciliations and allocating incoming and outgoing payments in line with remittance advice.
  • Investigating and resolving customer and supplier queries, discrepancies, and account issues in a timely manner.
  • Setting up and maintaining customer and supplier accounts, including credit checks and reviewing credit limits where required.
  • Supporting month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting across AP and AR functions.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • 2-3 years of experience across Accounts Payable & Accounts Recievable
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders.
