We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised Administration Assistant to join a busy manufacturing team in Melbourne’s South-East. This is a permanent, full-time role supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced production environment.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination between the office and production floor, providing essential administrative and operational support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a hands-on, team-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across production and office teams
- Manage emails, documents, and internal/external correspondence
- Assist with production scheduling, job tracking, and coordination
- Maintain accurate records, production data, and filing systems
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentation
- Liaise with production staff, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Support purchasing, order processing, and inventory coordination
- Assist with general office administration and ad hoc tasks
- Contribute to an organised, efficient, and safety-focused workplace
- 1–3 years’ experience in administration, ideally within manufacturing, production, or industrial environments
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP or production systems (highly regarded)
- Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
