About the Role:

A well-regarded accounting firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis (20–25 hours per week).

This role offers exposure to specialist client work within a supportive and collaborative environment, with genuine opportunities to develop your skills and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming enquiries and administrative tasks within the team
  • Maintain accurate client records and databases, ensuring compliance standards are met
  • Assist with invoicing, follow-ups, and lodgement documentation
  • Coordinate meetings and manage calendars
  • Provide backup reception support, including greeting clients and handling calls professionally
  • Assist with general ad-hoc administrative duties as required
Skills & Experience:
  • Ideally 4+ years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Experience with ATO and/or ASIC processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach with strong ownership of work
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Trusted to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with MYOB AE highly regarded
