The Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and multi-entity reporting across ERP systems
- Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet, and support P&L variance analysis
- Contribute to timely and accurate financial and board reporting, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements
- Support tax compliance, including preparation and lodgement of obligations in line with ATO requirements
- Assist with statutory reporting in accordance with AASB standards and support audit processes
- Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation, acquisitions, disposals, and stocktakes
- Gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial analysis
- 3+ years of experience in an Assistant Accountant role/similar
- Qualified CPA or working towards is desirable
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced systems capability.
- Strong willingness to learn
- The ability to manage competing priorities and improve processes proactively.
