The Role
Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role will support the wider finance team and assist with management reporting, budgeting, and commercial analysis for various cost centers. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
- Monthly general ledger account reconciliations/assisting with month end process
- Preparation and processing of adjusting journals
- General ledger maintenance and trial balance
- Assist on Foreign Currency projects
- Processing Payments on internet banking
- Assistance with effective cash flow management
- Statutory reporting
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Assistance with payroll function
- Work with finance team to identify and implement business process improvement
- Other ad hoc duties to support the team
You will have an in-depth technical understanding combined with commercial awareness. You will possess exceptional communication skills as your ability to interact, engage, and influence stakeholders across the business will be crucial to your success. You will be an ambitious and high calibre candidate with prior experience as an Assistant Accountant.
