We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer/Assistant Accountant to join a respected organisation based in Western Sydney. This is a temporary opportunity with flexibility to work either part-time or full-time.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the finance team your role will include:
- Process sales orders, invoices, credit notes, and customer payments
- Manage debt collection and issue monthly statements
- Maintain customer master data and set up new accounts
- Resolve invoicing and sales queries
- Support month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Process goods receipts and manufacturing job orders
- Assist with warehouse transfers and product setup
- Support standard costing maintenance and production variance analysis
- Assist with inventory reporting, stocktakes, and analysis
- Complete bank reconciliations and journals
- Maintain fixed asset register (additions, disposals, depreciation)
- Assist with FBT, month-end, and year-end audit processes
- Perform account reconciliations
- Support continuous process improvements and general finance administration
- Confident and experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer/ generalist accounts role
- Experience with ERP system and Excel.
- High level of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail.
