This is a permanent production floor role within a large-scale FMCG manufacturing operation in Sydney. The site runs 24/5 and is in an active phase of expansion. You will be joining a business that is growing quickly and investing heavily in its people and infrastructure.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, physically active production role responsible for the accurate weighing, kitting and mixing of ingredients to specification. It is a process-driven position that demands accuracy, consistent adherence to procedure and a strong work ethic across every shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh, kit and mix ingredients to specification
- Scan and record materials in and out via digital systems in real time
- Follow GMP and food safety procedures consistently throughout each shift
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment at all times
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and adjacent shift teams to ensure seamless handovers
- Support the team during ongoing process improvements
You are a reliable, physically capable production operator who takes pride in doing things right and thrives in a fast-paced environment where the pace doesn't let up. This is a site with a strong team culture - a bright, energetic personality who enjoys being part of a high-performing team will fit right in.
You will likely bring:
- A background in food, beverage, bakery, FMCG or similar manufacturing
- Comfort with a physically active, manual role including lifting up to 20kg
- Accuracy and attention to detail - consistent adherence to specification and procedure is essential
- Experience with digital systems preferred
- The ability to adapt quickly as processes evolve
- A strong work ethic and visible motivation - this is a culture where effort is noticed and rewarded
- A forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
- A go-getter attitude - someone who brings energy to the floor and lifts the team around them
