An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Billings & Collections Officer to join a well-established organisation on a permanent basis.
Reporting into an experienced manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of accounts with a strong focus on billings, collections, reconciliations and debtor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of outstanding accounts within a large healthcare environment
• Follow up overdue invoices and outstanding payments
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding account queries
• Investigate and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
• Manage payment arrangements, adjustments and refunds
• Complete reconciliations and maintain accurate account records
• Identify and escalate outstanding or doubtful debts

About You

• 2+ years previous experience within a healthcare environment is essential
• Strong collections and debtor management experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP
• Confident investigating and resolving account discrepancies
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
