About the role
The primary focus of this role will be to deliver new business opportunities through your group of diverse customers, driving overall growth of sales across your region. Spending the majority of your time on the road with customers, your typical target customers will include organisations from industries such as Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical & Chemical as well as others. You will also manage & grow existing distribution partners. 

Duties
  • Build pipeline of new business opportunities in target markets
  • Manage existing portfolio of assigned accounts
  • Conduct product demonstrations & presentations at corporate level
  • Work to set KPI's on customer visits, territory management etc
  • Customer quotes, processing orders, day to day admin
  • Provide technical support to customers with tailored solutions
  • Travel where required
  • Take ultimate responsibility for all customers & revenue in your portfolio
Skills and Experience
  • Business Development or Technical Sales experience with track record of driving an increase in revenue in your portfolio
  • Network in Food & Beverage, Chemicals or Pharmaceutical markets would be advantageous 
  • Experience in engineering products; hydraulics, instrumentation, seals etc would also be highly regarded
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders within a large organisation
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Desire to continue to develop your sales skills & progress through the organisation
  • Sell with a 'trusted advisor' mentality & approach
