The role

Working closely with business stakeholders, the role of the Business Intelligence Team lead will be to implement solutions to business challenges and to improve existing processes. Liaising with service managers regularly your team will own the delivery of solutions from concept through to development and testing. You will offer technical leadership to your BI team and the organisation as a whole ensuring that BI strategies are realised and contributions are made to information architecture. 

Key Skills needed: 

ESSENTIAL
    • SQL query skills with MS SQL Server
    • o Advanced experience crafting insightful data visualisations in MS Power BI
    • Detailed understanding of the data structures and patterns supporting analytical data warehouse

    •  DESIRABLE
      • Be a critical thinker with attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality work
      • Able to work across multiple project streams and able to efficiently organise time and effort
      • Expertise with legacy SQL Server data warehousing, including SSIS for ETL, dimensional modelling, and SSAS cubes
      • Clear and confident communicator
  • Qualifications (Essential)
    • Degree qualification in Information Technology or Data Sciences discipline, or
    • Demonstrated expert knowledge in the field
