About the role
  
Reporting to, and acting as a key partner to the CEO you will be responsible for all financial, IT and risk management practices of the company. This will include the development of the company’s financial strategy, all statutory, ASX, management and board reporting, corporate governance and risk management, capital expenditure analysis, and continuous improvement of systems and processes. The CFO will fulfil a key strategic role in the overall management and growth strategy of the organisation.
  
Duties
  • Develop, execute and maintain an overall performance strategy for the Finance function, and the business more broadly
  • Provision of timely and accurate statutory reporting, ASX disclosure and external compliance requirements
  • Provision of timely and accurate management information and analysis to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and the Board in relation to budgets, financial and operational performance, economic evaluation and general financial analysis
  • Responsibility for the integrity of financial procedure, processes and methodology used throughout the organisation
  • Management and maintenance of the cash flow and capital investment function of the organisation
  • Ensure the implementation of the financial plan and report to the Board in a timely manner on any deviations from the plan or any parameters established by the Board
  • Ensure appropriate financial, accounting and auditing policies and procedures are developed, maintained, approved and disclosed
  
Skills and Experience
  
CA/CPA qualified, ideally you have strong FMCG and manufacturing industry experience, and previous ASX experience will be viewed upon favourably. You are a collaborative, pragmatic and commercially astute finance leader, with experience in driving strategic and operational improvements. This role requires a hands-on and confident change agent who will bring a considered and informed commercial lens to all business decisions.
  
You have highly developed technical accounting skills, commercial and operational acumen, along with proven experience building relationships and influence with high-level stakeholders. You are a big picture thinker who is able to reason at a conceptual level and drive change, while still maintaining strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
  
Crucially, you are a natural leader with a high degree of integrity and professionalism, a “can do” attitude, and are comfortable with autonomy, ambiguity and adaptability. Equally, you have the confidence and credibility to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation and across all functions
