About the Company
Felton Grimwade & Bosisto’s Pty Ltd is a thriving, Australian-owned company that manufactures and markets a range of safe, natural and effective products. With a range of proprietary brands including Bosisto's and Euky Bear, the company is also the exclusive distributor for Vicks Home Health and Braun Health & Wellbeing in Australia and NZ. FGB’s team of highly skilled employees are driving year on year growth in product sales both in Australia and selected export markets.
FGB is seeking a high calibre finance and accounting professional to lead the Company’s Finance function on an interim (fixed-term contract) basis and provide strategic support to the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing and overseeing both control and commercial aspects of a Finance function, ideally within both large and medium-sized businesses and have the ability to grow and develop FGB’s finance team and capabilities to align with and support future business growth.

Job Description
The CFO will be directly responsible for the management of the Finance team. As a member of the Leadership Team, your primary focus is to ensure the financial control and commercial functions are delivered, to support timely and considered decision making.
This position oversees all internal financial and management reporting, budgeting, financial forecasting, cash and working capital management, as well as business partnering across manufacturing, S&OP and commercial functions to assist management in evaluating business opportunities and driving improvements to overall company performance.  You will manage external parties and statutory bodies, to ensure compliance and satisfactory risk mitigation strategies are in place. As a leader in the business, you are expected to develop and mentor Finance team members and help them achieve key deliverables, as well as continually refine the business processes to drive efficiencies and deliver best practice standards.

The Successful Applicant
FGB is looking for a CFO who is ready to step up and succeed. Degree level qualifications in Accounting and a current CA / CPA membership are mandatory, as is previous experience in an FMCG / manufacturing organisation. Strong technical accounting skills are important in this role and they should be complimented with an analytical skillset. The role will involve a high level of stakeholder management across the wider business, so a proven track record of having worked at the Executive Leadership Team level is necessary. Leadership skills are essential to driving the Finance team, as is the ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide strategic support to the CEO.

What’s On Offer?
This is a rare opportunity to join an established and reputable organisation and where you have an active role to shape and influence future business direction. FGB has made some key transformational changes in recent years, which has given them a strong growth pipeline and financial position. The role offers a competitive remuneration commensurate with the candidates’ level of experience and competency.
