Change Lead – Enterprise Transformation (ERP Program)

Be at the Centre of a Major Transformation Program A leading Queensland-based Local Government Authority is delivering a large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation program, replacing legacy systems with a modern, cloud-based ERP platform.

We are looking for an experienced Change Lead to play a critical role in driving adoption, engagement and readiness across the organisation as part of this high-profile program.

This multi-year transformation will implement TechnologyOne OneCouncil (SaaS+), spanning:

• Finance
• Procurement & Supply Chain
• HR & Payroll
• Asset & Property Management
• Customer Services
• Enterprise Content Management

Delivered across multiple releases through to 2029, and supported by leading delivery partners, this is a complex, high-visibility program with strong executive sponsorship and a clear mandate for success.

Reporting to the Transformation & Change Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end change outcomes across key program workstreams.

You will work closely with business leaders, SMEs and project teams to ensure people are prepared, supported and enabled to adopt new systems and ways of working.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment, where stakeholder engagement and practical execution are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver practical change strategies and plans aligned to program outcomes
• Conduct change impact and readiness assessments to inform delivery approach
• Build strong relationships with leaders, stakeholders and frontline teams
• Drive stakeholder engagement, alignment and resistance management
• Partner with communications and training functions to ensure effective rollout and capability uplift
• Act as the key link between the project team and the business
• Support governance, reporting and risk mitigation across the program
• Ensure adoption outcomes are achieved, including utilisation, proficiency and business readiness

You are a hands-on Change professional with experience delivering outcomes in complex transformation environments.
You will bring:

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end change within ERP or large transformation programs
• Strong knowledge of structured methodologies (Prosci / ADKAR or similar)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across all levels
• Ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear, practical messaging
• Experience operating in large, multi-disciplinary organisations
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to assess impacts, risks and readiness

Highly regarded:

• Experience within Local Government or similarly regulated environments
• Exposure to TechnologyOne or comparable ERP platforms
• Experience supporting both corporate and operational/field-based workforces
