An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CTO to join the business based in Melbourne, the CTO will be a member of the executive team and will report to the Group COO.
This role represents a greenfield opportunity to create a technology platform to support ambitious growth plans facilitating the launch and growth of apps, websites and customer portals supporting new and exciting customer experiences. In short, the role will support the aggressive expansion of the current portfolio and launch of new high-growth brands and businesses.
What you’ll do and own:
- Provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of the group
- Communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company's technologies are used appropriately
- Plan and execute a technology roadmap that exceeds the expectations of the organisation
- Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Help departments use technology profitably
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Communicate technology strategy to employees, stakeholders and customers
