Job Description


In this high profile position, you will be principally responsible for driving performance across a number of the group's most significant business units. You will be a key business partner supporting the senior commercial team in their strategic and commercial decision-making ensuring the group’s Australian operation is optimizing their operational and financial performance.
  
Key responsibilities of this role includes:  
  • Product costing support and product innovation 
  • Commercial support to sales, marketing, inventory & supply chaim managers 
  • Review the pricing of tenders and provide strategic analysis
  • Investor reporting & analysis 
  • Trade spend management 
  • Partner with Commercial Manager in the timely and accurate preparation of the annual budget and forecasts  
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and KPI’s    
  • Perform analysis of monthly financial performance to ensure timely response to issues and identify any exposures for resolution  
  • Support Commercial Manager in maintaining a strong control environment and ensuring robust and prompt close out of any issues identified via audit or otherwise.
  • Perform projects and analysis as requires by Commercial Managers and GMs
  • Process capital expenditure requests and monitor the spend against budget across the financial year
  • Participate in critical business reviews at all facilities and identify and facilitate enhancements in business efficiencies
The Successful Applicant
 
You will be CA/CPA qualified and have demonstrated expertise in commercial roles previously ideally within FMCG or Manufacturing based environment . You will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to exert influence across the business will be fundamental to your success. You will be inquisitive and commercially minded and will enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Candidates must have strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced) and be able to pick up systems quickly.

Candidate with a strong grasp of Mandarin (both written and verbal) will be looked upon favorably, however this is not essential to be successful in this role.

• $120,000 - $130,000 + Superannuation  
• CBD Fringe Location 
• PART TIME CANDIDATES - our client is open to this role being 3-4 days per week
