This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact Commercial Analyst role within a large, complex organisation, where your work will directly improve how the business operates at scale.

With a strong pipeline of identified opportunities, this role is focused on automating and improving manual finance processes, freeing up time and driving better commercial outcomes across the business.

The Opportunity:

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you’ll partner across finance, operations and admin teams to:
  • Identify and redesign inefficient, manual processes
  • Lead automation initiatives across reporting and workflows
  • Build scalable, data-driven solutions to improve performance
  • Influence stakeholders to adopt new processes and ways of working
  • Deliver insights that support decision-making and operational efficiency
This is a hands-on, business-facing role — not sitting in a corner building models, but actively working with stakeholders to drive real change.

What You’ll Be Focused On (First 6–12 Months)
  • Driving automation across core finance processes
  • Streamlining reporting and improving data accessibility
  • Partnering with a large finance/admin team to uplift capability
  • Improving system connectivity and data flow across the business
  • Embedding more efficient, scalable ways of working
About You

You’ll be a commercially minded analyst with strong technical capability and the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.

Key experience:
  • Background in Commercial Analyst / Finance Analyst / Business Analyst roles
  • Strong understanding of finance processes and commercial drivers
  • Proven experience improving processes and driving efficiencies
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Technical skills:
  • Advanced Excel (Macros, VBA, Power Query)
  • Strong SQL capability, including the ability to build & maintain databases
  • Working knowledge of Python for automation / data transformation
  • Exposure to Power BI or similar tools
Personal style:
  • Strong communicator — able to influence and bring stakeholders on the journey
  • Proactive and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable operating in a matrix, high-change environment
  • Resilient and adaptable
