The role:

We are currently partnering with a highly respected global organisation to recruit an experienced Commercial Analyst for an immediate start 6-month fixed term contract.

Joining a collaborative and high-performing finance team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting commercial decision-making by delivering meaningful financial analysis and partnering closely with stakeholders across the business. Working closely with senior finance leaders and operational teams, you will provide insightful analysis to support strategic planning, improve business performance and influence key commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management reporting, delivering analysis and commentary on financial performance and key business drivers.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across multiple business units.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support commercial and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights, identify opportunities and drive business performance.
  • Analyse trends, profitability and variances, providing recommendations to support informed decision-making.
  • Produce KPI reporting and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Assist with business cases, investment analysis and ad hoc commercial projects.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping to enhance reporting and planning capabilities.
About You:
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Previous experience in a Commercial Analyst, FP&A, Financial Analyst or Finance Business Partner role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into meaningful business insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Exposure to ERP systems and reporting tools such as Power BI, TM1 or similar will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across finance and operational teams.
  • Available immediately or on short notice.
