About the role
A fantastic position working for a leading and dynamic media business who are looking for a commercially astute finance professional. You will be a key player within the business and be a key partner to senior executives.
  
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
  

• Overall responsibility of the budgeting process for the division aligning to corporate deliverables and timeline and tied to financial strategic targets.
• Deliver monthly P&L forecasts based on contractual payments, department updates, program production budgets, AP data to provide accurate reporting and insights to the business.
• Provide strong business partnership at a senior level to the heads of all relevant departments.
• Be an effective leader who leads by example with collaboration, honesty, and trust. Must be able to build relationships with people within and across the Company.
• Support operations through the provision of effective management information and analysis.
• Analysis of products and divisional performance
• Drive strategic initiatives to ensure revenue and profit growth
• Financial models to support business cases
• Capital expenditure
• Monthly forecasting
• Monitoring of major project.
• Identify risk and opportunities
• Drive a key transformation project
• Development of customer pricing models and profitability analysis
• Spearhead process improvements across both operations and finance
• Collaborate closely on planning, providing financial insights to assist with commercial decision making and dealing with budgetary and forecasting issues.
• Manage communication and responsiveness to stakeholder requests in a timely manner based on criticality of business.
• Month-end commentary of forecast/budget/PY variances for Controllership team
• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of quarterly and yearly schedules for global submission and liaising with external auditors
• Review month-end processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and expense analysis

The successful applicant 
We are seeking an exceptional individual who has held a senior finance business partnering role or Commercial Manager within a complex organisation organisation. You will be a strong communicator and influencer, with the credibility and gravitas to be able to positively influence management decisions. ACA / CPA / CIMA qualification is essential. Experience with SAP and or Oracle is preferred.
