You'll own the numbers, the narrative, and the strategy for the businesses regional operations across QLD. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll have real autonomy to shape how this business performs, not just report on how it performs.

What You'll Be Doing
- Own commercial partnerships with Regional, Operations and Sales leaders, shaping project performance and profitability
- Drive the strategy through financial insights, modelling and analysis that directly influence key business decisions
- Take the lead on continuous improvement initiatives, with real autonomy to shape performance outcomes
- Lead pricing, contracts, risk and customer agreements
- Budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes, with full ownership of accurate, timely reporting
- Shape capital investment decisions through robust business case development
- Build commercial capability across operational teams, lifting financial literacy and embedding a stronger commercial mindset
- Set the standard for reporting and control frameworks
- A commercially astute finance professional who wants ownership and autonomy
- Comfortable with regular regional travel (circa 6-8 days per month across the region)
- Tertiary qualified in Finance, Commerce or a related discipline (CA/CPA essential)
- Experience in civil contracting, construction or infrastructure environments highly regarded
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
