An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join one of Australia's leading manufacturing businesses. Reporting to the CFO, you will partner closely with the General Manager and executive leadership team, providing commercial insights that drive profitability, operational performance and strategic decision-making.
This is a highly visible role offering exposure to senior leadership while playing a key part in the continued growth of a well-established, market-leading business.

You'll also play an important role in driving continuous improvement across reporting, planning and decision-support processes while helping shape a best-in-class commercial finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior operational and commercial leaders to improve business performance
• Deliver meaningful commercial analysis and financial insights to support strategic decision-making
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes
• Provide P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and KPI reporting
• Analyse manufacturing costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability and margins
• Support pricing strategies, product profitability analysis and customer commercial evaluations
• Develop financial models and business cases for capital investments and growth initiatives
• Collaborate with sales, operations and supply chain teams on demand planning and inventory optimisation
• Drive improvements in reporting, financial planning and business intelligence
• Ensure strong financial governance, controls and compliance

About You To be successful in this role you will bring:

• CA, CPA or CIMA qualification
• Demonstrated experience in a Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering role
• Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG or a similar product-based environment
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, profitability and margin analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems and reporting tools such as Power BI
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• The confidence to challenge thinking and drive better commercial outcomes
