We are currently partnering a leading industrial manufacturing group to recruit a Commercial Finance Transformation Lead on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader with a passion for transformation, operating model design, and building best-in-class FP&A capability. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will play a critical part in shaping the Commercial Finance operating model, driving planning capability, and enabling better decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the Commercial Finance operating model including FP&A and Business Partnering structures
- Establish planning, forecasting, and performance management frameworks (budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning)
- Define and support implementation of systems, reporting, and planning tools
- Partner with ERP and data teams to ensure fit-for-purpose financial systems and reporting capability
- Drive stakeholder engagement and change management across divisional leadership teams
- Support the rollout of new planning and reporting platforms
- Build governance frameworks, reporting cadence, and KPI structures
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of the permanent Commercial Finance team
- Develop and execute a transformation roadmap, tracking delivery against key milestones
About You
You will bring:
- CA/CPA preferred with ~15+ years’ experience across commercial finance, FP&A, and/or transformation roles.
- Hands-on finance transformation experience with ability to operate both strategically and tactically in complex environments
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering capability
- Experience implementing planning, forecasting, or ERP/reporting systems
- Ability to navigate complex, multi-entity environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience supporting team build-out and capability uplift
