Operating across Australia and New Zealand, this well-established organisation is continuing to invest in its commercial finance capability and is seeking a commercially astute professional to partner directly with divisional leadership.
Embedded within the business and working closely with the Executive General Manager, this position will act as a trusted advisor focused on driving performance, profitability and strategic decision-making.
The Opportunity This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with senior operational leaders to provide commercial insight, financial analysis and strategic support across key business initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the EGM and leadership team to drive commercial outcomes
- Delivering analysis across revenue, margin, cost and profitability drivers
- Leading budgeting, rolling forecasts and scenario planning
- Providing pricing, margin and investment analysis to support decision-making
- Developing business cases and financial models for strategic initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for margin enhancement and operational efficiencies
- Supporting performance improvement programs across the division
- Working closely with Group Finance and FP&A to align plans with reporting requirements
About You You will be a commercially minded finance professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence senior leaders.
You will ideally bring:
- CA / CPA qualification
- Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, commercial analysis or business partnering roles
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Experience supporting operational or industrial businesses
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, commercially focused mindset
