The Opportunity As the Commercial Manufacturing Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting site performance through robust costing, pricing, inventory management and commercial analysis. You will partner with operational leaders to understand cost drivers, improve decision-making and identify opportunities to enhance profitability and efficiency across the manufacturing network.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with manufacturing, operations and commercial teams to drive margin improvement and business performance
- Develop, maintain and enhance product costing models and standard costing processes
- Support pricing reviews, customer tenders and profitability analysis
- Deliver detailed cost, volume and margin analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Lead inventory control activities, stocktake analysis and working capital initiatives
- Support budgeting, forecasting and month-end performance reporting
- Conduct complex financial modelling to support operational improvement and capital investment decisions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across costing, reporting and financial controls
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple manufacturing sites and functions.
To be successful in this role, you will be a commercially minded finance professional with strong manufacturing experience and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Significant experience in manufacturing, cost accounting or commercial finance
- Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory management and manufacturing operations
- Experience with pricing methodologies, margin analysis and tender support
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within complex, multi-site environments
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
